Indian Embroidered Toran with mirror inlays
Traditional Indian Toran is a decorative doorway hanging with deep cultural and spiritual significance, symbolizing welcome, prosperity and auspiciousness. Traditionally used for festivalive ceremonies. They also serve a protective function, originally warding off evil and bringing good fortune.
I bought this treasure from my trip to India more than 20 years ago. Colorfully embroidered with mirror insets, it is in excellent condition.( see photos )
